GDC owns seven rigs: four ZJ70D（2000HP, SCR) and three ZJ70D (1500HP, SCR) drilling rigs. GDC has drilled over 50 wells in Menengai. The Menengai Geothermal Project is being developed in four phases; Phase I-105Mw, Phase I-105Mw, Phase II-60Mw, Phase III-100Mw, Phase IV-100Mw giving a total of 465MW. The estimated potential of the Menengai Geothermal Project is 1600MW. So far GDC has realized 170MW of steam at the well head.

GDC has advanced equipment and personnel to carry out geological logging, temperature and pressure logging on geothermal wells.
The main hole of the well is completed by casing using slotted liners to ensure best connectivity and large flow area between reservoir and wellbore.
GDC employs air drilling technique to achieve on deep hole cleaning without compromising the production zone.

GDC owns four (4) modern cement pumping trucks used for cementing services on the wells.
GDC has a cementing lab where cement and slurry properties are tested to ascertain the desired quality. GDC trained personnel.
Cement Haulage trucks used for transporting cement from cement factory to drilling sites.
