The Drilling Operations Department has completed four wells at Olkaria Domes. The crew has also moved to two new sites where drilling has already started. The four well have a capacity of 30 MWe.
They wells have been handed over to the Reservoir Department, headed by Mr. Cornel Ofwona, also the Area Manager, North Rift. GDC will drill up to 36 wells in the Olkaria Domes and provide about 280 MWe to run the Olkaria IV power plant.
